Considering the Strength of Your Employment Tribunal Case

Before you leap into making a claim through the Employment tribunals, it is important that you carefully think about your chances of success.  If your claim looks like it won’t be successful, the Judge could decide to strike it out before it even gets to the hearing.

It is hard to say whether your claim will be successful off the bat.  First up, you should look at the type of claim you have.  If you have been fired by your employer, you may be entitled to claim:

  • notice pay
  • redundancy pay
  • holiday pay

You may be able to claim that you were unfairly dissmissed, or that your dismissal was in fact discrimination.
